  4. Connectivity GPRS/EDGE/HSPA/WIFI
  5. And ofcourse touchscreen
  6. Amazing Email and SMS UI.

This is just one of the slew of mobile phones release this part of the quarter of 2009.  First phone to grace the Andriod OS is the HTC Dream last year.

I need to get one of these phone and start the trip on mobile development. I wanted to get an iPhone but due to lack of resources to get an Apple hardware so I can learn xCode. Developing apps on Andriod seems to be the most realistic approach and not too much investments on hardware.

Microsoft and Yahoo seals the web deal for 10 years

Microsoft and Yahoo! finally closed their web deal which will make Microsoft’s Bing the algorithm to power the Yahoo! search engine. The long rumor is now over and the deal is set for 10 years. This positions both companies to target the search king Google. Yahoo! last year was on a brink of being bought by Microsoft but with this new deal no takeover is happening. Yahoo is next to ranking on search from Google, by Microsoft tying a deal with Yahoo it brings them much closer to Google.

Yahoo will keep 88% of the ad revenues for the first 5 years and have rights to sell ads as well on some Microsoft sites and brands.
